Since August 2009  nine creative professionals from Northern Rivers have been acting as mentors, tutors and workshop facilitators. Eight emerging musicians who identify as having a disability are participants in a fortnightly workshop/mentoring program. Audio and visual recordings produced as a result of the workshop program are being used to create samples, soundbites, live backdrops and soundscapes for public performances. The special "assistive" technology used in the project will enable enahnced self expression from participants who could be otherwise limited by mobility or other factors preventing them from playing music with "conventional" instruments.

 On The BANDWAGON

This page shows a series of five clips from a live edited & looped experimental video and music performance by Professor Blix (AKA Rohan Langford) and his infamous Box-o-tricks at the third annual Sound Crucible experimental music festival held @ the Bangalow catholic church hall. The video is edited live using a variety of midi controllers as the music is played using real instruments, effects pedals, and looping equipment all performed simultaneously by Professor Blix.
The clips on this page show innovative use of "Arkaos" software with visual and audio systems integrated for presentation in a live performance environment.

The MySpace music page of Doug Snug (AKA Paul Schulz) with evidence of recent musical acitivty both as a solo artist and in collaboration with musicians with disabilities.
